One adorer writes:
When I began adoration, I didn’t know what to expect. It was something that I always wanted to do but hadn’t. When our church became involved with the hospital, I felt that it was the time to act on my inclination.
From the first week, it has been an exciting experience. It is the hour in the week that I look forward to – even as I am leaving the chapel after the previous week. I have found solace and peace in my hour of adoration. I have been able to tackle my problems or realized it wasn’t time to act on certain situations. It is the one time during the week that I feel that I am in touch with my own feelings but simultaneously able to hear God’s will for me.
It is such a strong experience that during the hectic week I can just think of my hour of adoration and derive peace. It is a blessing in my life, an oasis in the desert of chaos and something real in the midst of the unreal – surreal material driven existence that I sometimes live.
